Saffron Bellenger

Saffron Bell is a dancer and choreographer originating from Salt Lake City, Utah. A versatile freelance artist with training in a wide range of dance styles including house, breaking, locking, contemporary, jazz, ballet, hip-hop, heels, and more. Saffron was a professional company member of Junction Dance Co. from 2023-2025. She is a frequent performer in the burlesque and heels space. She is the director and creator of “Spice Productions”, a dance focused digital media and live entertainment performance group. She produced, choreographed, and directed a full-length 2hrs heels show entitled “So You Wanna Be Famous” premiering at The Rose Wagner in SLC, Utah. The show explored the effects of modern technology on the experience of our lived reality while highlighting the interconnectedness of our digital and physical environments in our modern world. The show conveyed this message through the artistry of heels dance, sensuality, and femininity. This show was produced under the “Spice Productions” brand. Beyond performing, Saffron has directed both theatre and dance productions, and is a published playwright. At the age of 18, she was invited to showcase an original play entitled “Death of the American Teenager” at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, written by Youth Theatre Conservatory, of which she was a company member and co-writer. As a proud member of the neurodivergent community, Saffron is a passionate advocate for neurodiverse representation, disability accommodations, and greater accessibility within the arts. Through her work, she continues to champion awareness, inclusion, and the celebration of diverse lived experiences, and centers the themes of her work around woman empowerment.
