Sam Zaplin

Sam is a professional dancer and movement educator with a distinguished international career spanning stage, screen, and television. Trained full-time at Dynamite Studios Australia and holding a Certificate IV in Dance from the Australian Dance Institute, he possesses a technical versatility that seamlessly integrates ballet, contemporary, musical theatre, and commercial dance. His global experience includes international performances with Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, work at Village Roadshow Theme Parks, appearances in film and television projects, and performing in the Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony on the Gold Coast. These projects have opened him up to opportunities where he has learnt tumbling, aerial work including harness, and acting roles. Beyond his work as a performer, Sam has dedicated years to teaching and choreographing for academic institutions and dance studios, as well as creating independent dance film projects. He is passionate about sharing practical, real-world training to those who are up and coming in the industry.
