Samantha Taylor

Hello! I completed my Diploma of Musical Theatre at Brent Street in 2021, where I had the privilege of training under industry professionals including Cameron Mitchell, Lisa Callingham, Benjamin Kiene, and Michael John Slinger. I have also undertaken extensive vocal training with Joel Ramirez, Jacinta Gulisano, Adam Rennie, and Marion Rouvez. Through my training and experience, I have developed a strong versatility across classical, musical theatre, jazz, and pop styles. Performing has been a huge part of my life, and I have been fortunate to take on a wide range of roles across musical theatre. Some of my favourite credits include Grace Farrell in Annie, Glinda in Wicked with Woftam Productions, Mayzie La Bird in Seussical with Camden Musical Society, Liz in Chicago and Sophie Sheridan in Mamma Mia with Blue Mountains Musical Society, Truly Scrumptious in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang with Camden Musical Society, Miss Andrews in Mary Poppins with Rehearsal Room Productions, Nickie Pignatelli in Sweet Charity with Blue Mountains Musical Society, Chutney Wyndham in Legally Blonde and Billy's Mum in Billy Elliot with Rehearsal Rooms Productions I have also had the opportunity to perform featured and ensemble roles in productions including Whistle Down the Wind with Campbelltown Theatre Group Inc., Beauty and the Beast with Holroyd Music and Dramatic Society, Gypsy at Brent Street, Les Misérables with Campbelltown Theatre Group Inc., and Singin’ in the Rain* with Rehearsal Room Productions. My passion for musical theatre has continued to grow throughout my training and professional experience, and I love bringing together my love of singing, acting and performance in everything I do.
