About

Originally from Albury, New South Wales, Samara has been surrounded by the creative arts from a young age. She established a love for dance and music, then singing, acting and circus performance. During her training at the Arts Academy, she performed in the musical The White Rose (ensemble) directed by Janice Muller and musical direction by Claire Healy. She has also been directed by Bagryana Popov in The Lower Depths (Kvashnya). Samara co-devised two original works, Blank Slate and Unrequited that were performed in A Seat at the Periodic Table. To finish her training, Samara performed in Pippin (Dance Captain/ensemble) directed by Kirsten von Bibra. At the beginning of 2026, Samara attended the Summer Professional Intensive at Sydney Dance Company, and is delighted to be further exploring choreography and tutoring through her work with the Albury Riverina Intermediate Dance Ensemble.
