Skyler Jed

I am a Melbourne-based performer of Dutch descent, originally from Auckland, New Zealand, where I completed a Diploma in On-Screen Acting before relocating to Melbourne in 2024. I am currently completing my Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music Theatre) at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) and am a proud recipient of the Nordling Award for Music Theatre. ​During my studies at VCA, my credits include Frederick William Barrett in Titanic the Musical (dir. Tyran Parke), Ensemble in Working: A Musical (dir. Tyran Parke), a featured soloist in Morning Melodies (dir. Jayde Kirchert), and Ensemble in The Drowsy Chaperone (dir. Alister Smith). In my third year, I had the privilege of playing George in A Little Touch of Chaos (dir. Roger Hodgman) and Warner Huntington III in Legally Blonde (dir. Jason Langley). ​Offstage, I am an avid photographer, videographer, and often sing in choral groups and barbershop quartets.
