Sophia Higgs

Sophia Higgs (she/her) is a Melbourne-based performer originally from Sydney. Prior to completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music Theatre) at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), Sophia completed a Diploma of Music Theatre at both the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) and Brent Street. At the VCA, Sophia is the proud recipient of The Ron and Margaret Dobell Foundation Industry Award and the Dr Richard Simmie Award for Music Theatre. Her third-year VCA credits include Paulette Bonafonté in ‘Legally Blonde’ (dir. Jason Langley) and Alice in ‘A Little Touch of Chaos’ (dir. Roger Hodgman). Outside of performing, Sophia is a proud daughter to her beautiful parents, an avid reader, and will bake you a cake at the drop of a hat.
