Sophia Laurantus

Hello! My name's Sophia. I'm a 22-year-old actress based in Sydney Australia, and a graduate of the Bachelor of Creative Arts (Acting) degree at JMC Academy. Since graduating in 2024, I have been been working consistently both on stage and screen as a professional actor in Sydney and it's surrounds. Some of the most memorable on-stage roles of my career so far include the title role of director Sandy Eldridge's production of Jane Eyre at Downstairs Belvoir, as Penny in God's Cowboy at Flightpath Theatre and most recently as Constance Blackwood in the hit musical Ride the Cyclone. Eager to continue to grow as a performer, I regularly train my singing and dance skills. I'm strongest singing musical theatre, pop and jazz, and was trained classically in ballet (RAD grade 8) before branching out to jazz, theatre jazz, contemporary and the like.
