Sophie Rado

Hello, my name is Sophie, I’m a British actress, singer and dancer based in Auckland, New Zealand, where I’ve lived for the past 18 years. My most recent theatre credit is playing the Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Q Theatre, Auckland CBD (September–October 2026). I trained at the Hammond School of Dance in the UK and have a background in professional dance and musical theatre, including performing internationally across Europe and on cruise ships. Alongside performing, I’m a yoga teacher, key note speaker and co-host of Stand Up Again with Sophie and Nick Rado, a resilience podcast on TVNZ+. I’m also a mum of two, and I love bringing warmth, versatility and a strong sense of storytelling to my work across stage and screen.
