Sophie Rose Eccles

Sophie Eccles was born and raised in Canberra, where she trained in a small local studio after transitioning from gymnastics and acrobatics, igniting her passion for dance. She moved to Sydney to study and train at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts, where she received a Bachelor of Dance Performance. Since graduating, Sophie has been regularly performing within the Australian scene in Melbourne and Sydney. She has worked with choreographers including Andii Huynh, Rosemarie Romeo, Alysia Jarvis, Evie Leah, and Georgette Sofatzis-Xuereb. Notably, she has appeared in Carol’s at the Domain and multiple independent productions. Sophie recently received a scholarship to train at Broadway Dancer Center in their Professional Training Program.
