About
I have trained at May Downs for the past 13 years under amazing mentors such as Renie Ann Martini, Louise Bell, Kirsten King, Thomas Lacey, Georgia Lacey and Angela Hill. I am trained in ballet (pointe), jazz, musical theatre (singing included) tap, acrobatics, contemporary, hiphop, lyrical, and Latin. I have also got experience in and really enjoy partner work. As well as still training, I have transitioned into more teaching and choreography work as well. Having completed my Teacher's Diploma in Tapping (CSTD) and my Advanced 2 in ballet (RAD), I teach many private lessons across May Downs School of Performing Arts and Dolly's School of Dance in general technique, ballet, acrobatics, tap and for competition. I also teach exam ballet, general technique, jazz, acrobatics and tap classes, as well as occasionally filling in for hiphop and contemporary. Furthermore, I began working as an Assistant Choreographer at Academy of Mary Immaculate for their 2026 musical of Mary Poppins Jr, and have been asked to return for their 2027 show of Hadestown Teen Edition. I am also currently working with the Year 9 triple threat class at the all girls school to put on a production of Newsies Jr in November. Additionally, I began seasonal work at Santa Maria College earlier this year, working with the Year 9 students in PE to create a cohesive routine in the commercial/hiphop style in groups and finally as a full class. Another group of students I have been working with are a group of senior boys from Carey Grammar School to assist with improving their general dance skills and jazz technique in order to help them prepare for their 2027 show of Hadestown. As well as choreography work, I have completed professional dance work as well, working under Glamatron Dancers, Power Entertainment and JV Entertainment across corporate events and nightclub work. This is something I do occasionally; every month or so, and they have been great opportunities to meet and work with other young people in the industry. Furthermore, under International Premier Events, I work as a hostess for events such as rugby State of Origin, AFL Grand Final, and Melbourne Cup. I absolutely love to sing, dance and act, and musical theatre is something I have always wanted to do. I was fortunate enough to be a part of a Year 12 Media Film by Lilly Rossi titled 'Whisper in the Mirror' where I portrayed the main character 'Isabel', a ballerina who heavily doubts herself and who has an evil subconscious that she overcomes in the end. This allowed me to gain experience in screen acting, which I was highly commended on by those involved in the film (cast and crew) as well as qualified professionals (teachers/mentors). I have also appeared in music videos for small artists and for university projects which have been great experiences and taught me how to work in front of a camera and take direction well. Although I am completing a Bachelor of Accounting/Business, and about to commence an Undergraduate course in Psychology, musical theatre is where my heart is and these courses are simply other interests of mine and to help with my understanding of working with many different people of all ages and abilities(psychology), and various aspects such as personal branding, communications, contracts (business), invoices and taxes (accounting). All of my experience across dancing, choreography/teaching, acting and singing can be found in my CV.
