About

Tayman Jamae is an actor, singer, dancer and musician based in Melbourne. He grew up in the small town of Willunga, South Australia. He got into performing pretty early—in fact, even before he was born he toured across Australia in theatre. His first gig on set was a commercial for Hills when he was just 2 years old. He loved it so much he kept going! While studying acting, music, singing and dance throughout his whole childhood, Tayman gained credits in film and television. Later, he moved to Sydney to study at Actors Centre Australia, graduating in 2018. He trained with teachers Dean Carey, Adam Cook, Gale Edwards, Jennifer West, Julia Cotton, and Philip Quast. While there, he continued to exercise his skills in guitar, voice, piano, and various dance styles, with a love for tap and jazz. Tayman’s been involved in over 70 shows, from theatre and musicals to short films, feature films, commercials, cabaret, dance, and music. Along the way, he’s had the chance to share the stage and screen with artists Hugo Weaving, Kate Ceberano, Molly Ringwald, Kristen Chenoweth, and Natalie Imbruglia.
