About

Thomas Birch has pursued his dream of becoming an actor since the age of seven. Having studied Drama and Film & Television throughout school, he continues to develop his craft through professional training and industry workshops. His training includes SET SECRETS with Bud Hopes, commercial audition techniques with Michelle Clancy, voiceover training with Brad McMurray from the Actor’s Club, and accent coaching with Gabby Rogers, through which he has developed an impeccable American accent. He has also completed blank firearm handling training with Michael Bate and AVB Film Guns Pty Ltd, medieval weapons and fight choreography training with Stunt Academy, and Action for Actors, a specialised stunt acting workshop led by Bálint Józsa and his team at Stunt Park in Nerang, Queensland. In 2022, Thomas competed at the World Championship of Performing Arts in Anaheim, California, earning two second-place awards and one first-place award across three acting categories. His screen credits include background roles in major productions such as Mortal Kombat 2, Balls Up, Anaconda, Primal War, Voltron, and Honeymoon with Harry. His television experience includes portraying a Monarch Analyst in the second season of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters. He has also appeared in commercials, including a Sportsbet World Cup advertisement, in which he featured as a photographer. A significant career milestone for Thomas was securing a speaking role as a Texan Deputy in the upcoming horror film Headless, directed by the Spierig Brothers. Thomas’s greatest strengths are his passion, professionalism, and perseverance. He thrives on immersing himself in characters and bringing compelling stories to life. With a strong commitment to continually refining his skills and delivering his best in every performance, he approaches each opportunity with dedication, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for the craft. Thomas looks forward to building on his experience and contributing his talent to future film and television productions.
