Yolandi Bester

My name is Yolandi Bester. I'm a 28 year old stage actress based in Melbourne, VIC. Born and raised in South Africa I am now an Australian citizen. I've always loved performing, as most kids do, living with their heads in the clouds. My acting journey started in earnest after a movie date with my mother in 2015 when we went to see Pitch Perfect 2. I was on the cusp of the rest of my life and something about the idea of being able to inspire people to believe in themselves and their ability to achieve the impossible stuck with me. I've pursued that feeling ever since. Devoting my life to learning as much about performance, in all its facets, as I can. I've toured locally, regionally and internationally with the Australian Shakespeare Company as part of their annual training and performance program in Prague, Czech Republic. I recently completed a Diploma in Musical Theatre and intend on furthering my training and experience in all aspect of singing, dancing and acting.
