Zac Rose

Zac Rose is a Melbourne singer, actor, writer, composer and voiceover artist with a bachelor's degree from the Australian Institute of Music, and a member of MEAA. A baritone-bass who sings across opera, musical theatre, jazz, gospel, Motown, blues and rock, Zac sang in the boys' chorus of Opera Australia's A Midsummer Night's Dream under Baz Luhrmann. He has built a substantial body of work with Rob Lloyd's Shakespeare comedy company — Holdaway in William Shakespeare's Reservoir Dogs, Winston Zeddemore in Shakespeare Ghostbusters and Sgt. Apone in Shakespeare Aliens, several across multiple seasons. Other roles include Inspector Fix in Around the World in 80 Days, Lord Darlington in Lady Windermere's Fan, Andy Hills in Flat White: A Cyberpunk Dystopia, and Doctor Marshall David Charles across Vaudevillian and Voltaire Variety Nights. Zac co-wrote, co-produced, composed for and performed in Ethnically Ambiguous (2025), and wrote, directed and starred in two solo cabaret short films. He has presented for television on Creatives on the Couch and works in commercial voiceover. Trained classically in choral singing for eight years, he works in Stanislavski, Brecht, Artaud and Shakespearean technique, improvises, and dances ballet, jazz and tap. Represented by CentreStage Agency and available throughout Victoria.
